This is why we have put together a list of our favorite applications that are super user friendly. Not only do we recommend these apps, but we use them daily for our own business. One of the best ways to make a process more efficient is to cut out the friction, which is exactly what user friendly applications do.

Some applications are popular because they have great marketing or are just plain awesome. Asana is the latter. Asana is a task management tool that can help even the busiest business owner and your team stay on top of all the moving parts in your business . Not only are the features super easy to learn but the application is very user friendly. Allowing anyone to quickly jump on and implement quickly.

You may be familiar with Google Drive, but if you don’t use it on a regular basis you may not be familiar with the many easy-to-use features that can help scale your business. For example, we love being able to quickly share documents with clients, send Google forms, or collaborate on a spreadsheet. If you haven’t checked out their features and already have Google Suite, we highly recommend it!
Pricing: You can have a free Gmail plan with some standard features or upgrade to business suite. Business Suite runs about $12 per month.
There are a lot of applications out there that allow you to quickly get documents signed. We prefer docusign because of how easy it is to use, fair pricing, and most of our clients are familiar with the software already. If you find yourself asking partners or clients to print documents and sign them, consider checking out Docusign. It will save you and your clients tons of time.
Pricing: Pricing starts at $15 per month and scales with additional features and allowed signatures.
This application we are in daily! It allows us to manage simple freelancers or those with complicated business plans. While it can be more difficult to use, depending on what features are needed, it allows for plenty of collaboration so we can work hand in hand with our clients to perfect their books.
Pricing: They have many pricing plans and deals, but they could be as low as $8 / month.
Whether you are a small business owner or just someone living in 2021, LastPass is a must! We have an account for everything now-a-days. You have your bank account, email, Uber Eats, social media, meditation apps, and music apps. There is a lot to remember. LastPass makes it easy by storing all of your passwords in a highly secure online notebook. With the plugin you can easily retrieve any password at a given time. And you can share passwords safely within your team. It’s too simple not to use!

Often time accountants have a love / hate relationship with payroll. Gusto changed that and now payroll is a breeze. What is so special about them is their user interface, for everyone. Your bookkeeper, employer, employee, and even contractor all have a dashboard with tailored information. They can see all the good stuff they want to see, while leaving out the extra details that can cause confusion.
Pricing: Gusto has a base price of $39 / month with $6 for each additional user. These plans also easily scale as you need additional features. If you don’t have any employees yet, then we recommend checking out their contractor plan. It is $6 per person with no base price.
At first, it may be easy to manage your billing payments. As those invoices come in and your calendar gets more complex, it becomes overwhelming. Melio is the perfect solution, easy to use and you cannot beat the price. You can set up bill payments to your vendors and have it all automated with ease. And it syncs with Quickbooks Online, taking time and effort out of your bookkeeping process.
Pricing: Plans start at free with the only payment being a transaction fee for credit card payments.
